Default Colin Montgomerie all set to lose Ryder Cup

Nothing like a bit of positive thinking before a big tournament, is there?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/golf/9035488.stm

Now you know why he never won a Major individual championship!

I don't like him either. Always seems like every interview is staged and he's reading off a script.

Great result, just a shame picking Harrington instead of Casey won't be bought up now

Yeah lets bring it up. I mean we won, there must be something to moan about?

Harrington won two points.

I think you'll find his partners carried him. Surely you're not a golf expert as well everything else!

Cant believe people are moaning about Casey, you could argue some of Monty's vice captains should have been playing as well, ahead of Casey, big deal, youth and experience came through, Westwood and Poults were the stars for me.

Amazing to look at Westwood now, he was finished a few years ago, great credit to him for getting it back and now ranked No2 in the world, wont be long until he's No1.

Like a lot of others I never had much time for miserable Monty but I think he has won quite a few of us over during this Ryder Cup, I take my hat off to he's done himself proud.

Don't think any of Montys vice captains are number 5 in the world. Harrington was over par in the singles.

Harrington played **** and should not have been there. But we won and thats what counts! My good friend was refereeing the McDowell singles game yesterday and said he's never seen noise and an atmosphere like it

At last, a fellow golfers point of view

Harrington went the Ryder Cup course in about the same score as I did!

But at least we won

yeah you got me there , can't argue with that !

I was there friday , trust me to choose the totally wrong day to go , we went to the beer tent for a while before leaving , but at £5 a pint didn't stay there long !
We were soaked through , it was a bit wet there , I'm amazed they were able to re-open the course later that day.

It was a lot nicer walking around in the sunshine earlier in the year when I went to watch the Welsh open

The Ryder cup isnt always about numbers.

Just look at Tigers performances down the years, mostly shocking, this was probably his best RC to date.

As I alluded too it is also about experience, fellow golfer

You allude to experience, then say that, very experienced Tiger's record isn't very good! Brilliant!

I don't play golf on the Wii, so you're on your own

Experience of the whole tournament, sorry I should have been clearer

Be fair you're never going to be a Wii player, there isn't enough room in the caravan to chip in off the green without smashing a Toby Jug or dislodging a doiley

And they're yet to release "Wii Caravanning" But once they do......
