He`s a lucky world champion, Brawn got a massive advantage at the start of the season with their unique diffuser and that enabled Brawn and Button to gain a massive advantage over most of the other teams, they built up a big lead in the world championship before the others caught up.

Its whose got the best car basically as to who wins the world title these days, Lewis Hamilton is a prime example of this. Button was hanging on at the back end of the season and it was the edge with the diffuser early in the season that got them home, if Vettel hadn`t of had so much bad luck with blown engines and one thing and another he would be champion.

Anyway, well done to the fastistic car earlier in the season, it was enough to get you home.

I'm really pleased for Jenson and Brawn after what happened after Honda pulled out.

The idea is that the teams develop the best car and race it in F1 I thought; There are many other factors that go into winning though! Its not all down to the car... it wouldn't get far without a driver! It does help to have the faster car though I concur

But who'd have thought a new team like Brawn could have hit F1 with such force and develop a strong, reliable car to win the Championship?

With all due respect its so easy to say things like 'if Vettel hadn't of has so much bad luck with blown engines and one thing and another he would have been champion' - its like saying 'If Hamilton had a good car this season, he would have been champion'. Neither won did they!?

This race was really entertaining - great beginning, with several crashes and aggressive driving - and what with the flaming fuel line incident in the pits, the amazing sweeping track and different fuelling strategies that went on, it was really unpredictable. Button drove very well - precise overtaking manoeuvres all the way - smooth and aggressive and he kept the car on track. Definitely drive of the day. No doubt that Button deserved the Championship this year - but congrats to Webber too!!

Its going to be interesting next year...

There will always be detractors I guess. People who forget that Jenson had the measure of Rubens, the guy who was often quicker than Schumacher but for team orders. Jenson who has pulled of some stunning overtakes this year. Jenson who despite poor qualifying laterly was still totally on it in the races.

Yes, Brawn had the best car over the year, but so has practically every world championship winning team since F1 began.

But you still have to beat your team mate, unless you are Schumacher of course, which Jenson did convincingly over the year.

Vettel made too many mistakes and he and/or his car was too marginal on engines. Jenson is as worthy a champion as those before him.
