Some people on here think Didier Drogba should have it for his honesty and the forthright way in which he plays the game.

Much deserved. It's been a great season from him and the delivery of the Premier league will just confirm the season he's had.
that ronaldo lad must look on in envy and think how he can improve to reach Gerrards level. Maybe he needs to think about being top of the scoring charts in the Prem, maybe if he can score vital goals in each of the knockout rounds of the Champions league.... just maybe if he could do these things he could be considered somewhere near the level of 'Stevie G'

how typical.... a thread starts about another premiership side and United get mentioned within 1st thread, ha ha so love to hate us but we dont care, I HOWEVER!! I agree actually with the poll, he's a top player, dont think he's played enough games to be honest, as gigsy.... nice to see giggs come second after the bashing everyone gave him before.
But nice to see the media's favourite team coming away with something this season.
The Liverpool love machine trundles on for another season....
Nice one about Drogba, how do you drive your car when your blind Richie LOL

Never mind, I'm sure Ronnie will win the Spanish version next year.
