2nd leg at home is a big advantage as has been shown in recent years at this stage. I fancy Chelsea and I'll have to hope United can do it in the other.

We're talking about the semi finals. Both teams at home 2nd last year went through. United lost to Ac the year before after playing away 2nd leg. Didn't Liverpool beat Chelsea that year at Anfield 2nd leg? I think you get my point.

Just pleased to be there though

Indeed, our squad is very thin, with a full squad I think we would have walked all the competitions this year.

Fingers crossed that nobody else gets injured.

I think people are over-rating Barca. Yes they're a top team but I think they can be got at by flooding the midfield and using Drogba. Their back 4 is pretty weak comparatively and I don't rate Valdes.

Shut up and go sit in the corner you fanny

Does that full squad include some decent players that Wenger would have maybe bought from other teams (that are over 15 and not playing in the French Second division)

Read your reply again...

Walked...

WALKED!!!!

Liverpool knocked them out 2007, United 2008, Chelsea's turn this year I think.

Arsenal in the Semis for me. Reckon if they can get a draw at OT then the game is theres to lose. Cant see them losing at Emirates in the 2nd leg. As said, they see to be firing on all cylindars atm, especially with Ade back in the team.

Chelsea Barca will be a tough game but Chelsea to win this one. Their back bone is alot stronger than Barca IMO.

United are been done by the fixtures. they play Boro on the Sunday at 4pm with the CL semi 2nd leg at Arsenal on the Tuesday. Anybody who's every played spot knows that 2nd day after is when you're at your weakest and most lethargic.

Have you not seen us play recently? That said defensively we were a lot stronger last night with Rio back.

For sure Barcelona are a threat going forward. Just look at the 87 goals theyve scored in La Liga this year - thats 33 more than utd with similar defensive record. But as has already been said english clubs have taken them out the last two years on the trot and they didnt beat Arsenal that convincingly in the '06 final iirc even with Lehman getting sent off early on.

I hope Chelsea can do it and secure another all english final. Its great to have 3 from 4 teams in the semis for the 2nd year in a row.

RA must have taken a huge hit during the credit crunch, the summer transfers will be interesting this year.

You can have Berbatov for Essien, straight swap and we'll chuck in a box of pork scratchings

I would have Rooney in my squad before any other striker in the world, he's a class act.

It's going to be a very interesting set of semi's this year. I believe it's going to be a Utd v Chelsea final again...

The Forbes rich list says he's lost nearly half of his £13 billion. You can keep Berbatov he's 5hite.

I couldn't choose between Ronaldo and Messi because they both that good but come on you would choose Berbatov/Tevez over Samuel Eto .

We lost a Champions league final by a width over a post so maybe there a little bit of hurt there.

Rooney maybe a class act but he's to much of a hot head, take the last England game he could have been easily been sent off and in big games can you take that risk.

I hope your right about the final so we can get some pay back.

+1

He's the Don .

I couldn't careless about his hot head, he is everything I want from a United player, I cant think of many other Utd players, in the past 35 years with his passion for the game and his club. Rooney exudes enthusiasm for the game, he eats sleeps and drinks football, he will never leave Utd nor threaten too unlike some.
