Looking forward to this weeks games, especially now that we're only 9 hours ahead of the UK, I can watch the game before going to work rather than seeing the 1st 10 minutes

Not long back. The performance was terrible with only Rooney looking slightly bothered. The decision to start Park and Fletcher out wide was a mistake. No idea how that defence kept all those clean sheets. Very tough game over there now.

You weren't wrong about the defence not turning up, shocking marking for the equaliser.
Not taking anything away from Porto United look shattered, if they keep this up they will struggle for the remainder of the season. I thought Sundays win would have put the wind back in their sails, appears not.

**** once again, i wish Ronnie would just **** off to Madrid as he was **** poor. Good to see everyone getting on his back for not tracking back when he lost the ball. Thought Scholes was poor too, he gave the ball away so often. I thought the only players who looked like they were trying was Rooney, Park and Fletcher.

They don't but i think Fletcher does a good job at stopping play and starting moves off. Just needs to work on other parts, as does Park who can't shoot for toffee...

Last night was the first time I have EVER been half impressed with Fletcher, personally think hes sh!te but he did put a decent shift in last night. Ronaldo was laughable. He needs disciplining. Thats what happens when you have such a big head and things dont go your way.
Rooney was class as always, loved his cheeky little shot at goal making the keeper push it over the bar.
Entertaining game for the neutral Also strongly agree that United looked very tired out there. You have good depth in the squad but it just doesnt seem to have been used to the best of your ability this season, I dont know if injuries played much part in that throughout.

Oh and I think Parks a good little work horse, hes just not strong enough for the Premiership and not good enough for Champions League.

fair play to chelski, played top notch tonight and deserved it. cracking first half. we needed a goal in the last twenty, would have made all the difference. cant see us scoring 3 to win it, but you never know.

I take back everything I said about Bayern in previous threads, stunning display by Barca.
To be honest Chelsea suprised me, a very good performance.

As per last night a fair result based on the game I'd say. Essien is a great player. united missed out there. He bossed the midfield. I don't think Gerrard was playing was he? As for the corners... well going Zonal is one thing but was it me or did they abandon it for the 2nd goal and go man for man? Advantage Chelsea. I did say that it would be a test for Liverpool to challenge for the league and still go after the champs league.

Meh
c'est la vie
Fair play Chelsea , outmuscled Liverpool in many departments
Essien kept Gerrard very quite and a couple of very poor performance also from one or two others
Only glimmer of light for LFC is Terry missing second leg however its an ask of almost Istanbul proportions to go through ...
