I know a few of us in here enjoy our Cricket, so I was sad to see that Bill Frindell had died at the weekend of legionares(sp?) disease.

He was the guy on TMS who did the scoring and chipped in with the stats and all sorts of weird cricket trivia during the test match commentaries.

The guy knew everything about the game and had basically compiled a complete history of every ball ever bowled in test history.

I also enjoyed his TMS Blog on the BBC where you could ask him any statistical question and I dont think that there was one question however obscure he couldn't answer in 8 years of that blog.

He'll be a big loss to TMS and the thousands of us who listen to it on a regular basis.
