I would big up my asian bro but I have to agree, Barrera will out class him by miles

 

Amir Khan isn't even a decent pro boxer, it just gets a lot of media attention, well done him on getting a silver medal and everything, but his boxing career ended on his last fight.

 

Personally I think Kahn will win this, as he his big for a lighweight and Barrera is coming up quite a bit from his best fighting weight.

Khan has all the physical advantages and Barrera is not the biggest puncher either.

Not as big a risk as everyone thinks. Its down to clever marketing, because everyone compares Khan to Naz Hamed, and everyone knows what the Baby Faced Assasin did to him. So, oooh, big risk.
I think Khan will comfortably win. Then the general public, that didn't know too much about boxing (to think Khan was so great anyway), will fall back in love with him.

well it has been a few years when Barrera fought Naz hamed, so rekon he might be getting on a bit now, so khan might have that advantage,

it would be a good fight.

 

I've always wondered about Khan's chin, it certainly does not look granite when he has been belted......and I never understood why the **** he doesn't keep his hands up to protect his "less than granite" chin.......If Barrera is not the biggest puncher then he does stand a chance. Since Khan's defeat I have lost a bit of interest in following him though.......Good Luck to him.......

Sorry but Antonio Barrera is a different class of fighter to Kahn. Naz Hamed was a way better boxer than Kahn in my opinion and he didn't get past Barrera.

Yes, but it was 8 years ago. Frank Warren made one mistake with Khan, he wont make another so soon. Not on PPV.
I'm in no way a Khan fan, but will be shocked if he doesn't get past the Baby Faced Assasin.

Barrera is no way near the threat he used to be and it's just clever marketing on Warrens behalf to get Kahn back on track...

Amir Khan is a product if the Frank Warren "I`ll get you lots of easy fighters to make you look good like i did with Audley Harrison" machine.

He will get mullered by Barrera.

 

Warren wasn't involved with Audley until his last fight. Audely always made a point of being his own promotor.

I think the views of the people on here reflect the general public, that Khan will get beat. Thats Warrens clever marketing. Anyone that knows anything worth knowing about boxing will understand this is why Barrera was picked.

 

Barrera is past his best but a class act and a hard fighter..Khan has to prove himself now and its a good call by Warren..Barerra will win for me even at this stage in his career...beat Naz up good and proper and for that has my eternal gratitude. I like Khan but he has got a glass chin..interesting fight??

Barrera can still kick *** even though he's in his late 30's, but its not gonna happen and thats 100%, its almost like watching WWF...when i was a kid it was great but as you grow up you know its just pure entertainment and a mean to make money....

 

Tbh i think he'll be lucky to get past the second round.
