What the hell happened in Hull????
Quick bit of background: I used to follow Hull City a few years back, got free use of a press pass, took photos for the fanzine yada yada and went to a few good home and away games throughout the seasons but kind of lost touch after a while.
I'd keep an eye on them in the tables and tut knowingly when they'd end up on a losing streak and I could swear that they were looking at relegation to non-league status not long back.
Given that I even stopped looking for them in the tables...
Imagine my shock when I'm watching Sky news (background in the Hotel room and hear the words Hull City and Premiership in the same sentence.
When the hell did that happen?????
Could someone give me some background I'd love to know what I missed!

It was on SSN a couple of weeks ago about them
Before the season started some bloke put £500 on for them too win promotion at the bookies.
He got stupidly good odds and is now looking at making a small fortune.

I wonder if that blokes name was Andy Medcalf... an old mate of mine who was (probably still IS) obsessed about Hull
I might get back in touch and see if a trip back to Hull is a good idea!
