i personally think if we lose to arsenal that hands the title to chelski.

im gunning for a strong win and will be partaking in several alcoholic beverages during the course of the afternoon.

Why does that hand the title to chelsea? If they also win we are still top on GD with them to play in remaining 4 fixtures. If it was away Id be more worried.

a good point. im thinking of the mental effects. im concerned the draw at boro last week hasnt done our men any good, coupled with arsenal obvious desire to erase tuesdays exit from the c.l.

gonna be one hell of a match

If your lot can beat the **** 4-2 and we stuffed you 3-0, your 3-0 reverse at Old T is madder than a frog in a sock

By frog do you mean Wenger? There's a nice mental image!

It'll probably be a bore 0-0 draw Dave, I can't see us spanking you.

The worst thing is I have to go out for the day There had better be enough room on the Sky +, I hate watching a live game after the event, there's always the urge to hit FF>> especially if things dont go to plan.

I'm surprised Neville didn't even make the bench.

Wonder why hes gone for the 4-3-3 too, although Ronaldo and Park will probably drop back.

Played the 4-3-3 a lot this season. But as you say can morph into a 4-5-1.

Awesome free kick by Hargreaves

Glad we won, Arsenal ran us ragged for most of it! Had £5 on too

usual arsenal, wasting good chances, play the better football, had the better chances, not clinical enough, not professional enough...

should have won but didn't (as usual)

ho hum

lets splash the cash this summer and go for it next year then.

Agreed Ted, Arsenal were the better team, as is usually the case when you play us. Except this years FA Cup obviously!

A proper Old School Man U V Arsenal game, thoroughly enjoyed it

Some great performances from some top players, enjoyed the performances of Rooney & especially Tevez, such strength on the ball to go along with his close control, Hleb, outstanding the entire game, an unsung hero at the **** IMO, Fabregas had his usual quality performance capped by a great run late in the 2nd half, as for Adebayour hot and cold again and nice use of the hand

To all the Gooner moaners, just think for one minute, you would not be living in one of the finest stadiums in the world with the healthy bank balance playing attractive football, if it wasn't for Wenger, you'd still be at a rotting Highbury playing Don Howe inspired ****e football under the likes of Rioch, Wenger has made Arsenal the brand they are today, you should be greatful for what he's done for your club.

B2Zero - you have won a cup in the last 4 years, I can understand why you can't remember it it was the FA Cup where you defended for an hour and a half before beating Utd on pens, as my gooner friends reminded me the history book will show Arsenal won, no one remembers a runner up, seems no one remembers the winners of that match either lol

You've got to feel a bit for Arsenal. On Wednesday they outclass Liverpool, the best English team in Europe, and on Sunday they outclass the best team in England.

Yet they end up winning nothing.

Clichy was Arsenals best player for me closely followed by Hleb but then he lost the plot ala Gallas. 2 of the worlds best LB's on display yesterday.

I don't get this Arsenal outclassed United. Yes they were the better team first half but United were in the 2nd half. United had some great chances as did Arsenal. Rooney had 2 great opportunities.

Arsenals is a mental problem at the mo. Once they hit a tough patch in the game their heads go. no more so than Gallas.

You noticed that as soon as the Pen was scored, you could feel Utd would go on to win it, almost as if Arsenal expected to conceed another, oooh the elation though when that freekick went in, reminiscent of the Everton game at the end of last season. Also agree that the **** bossed the 1st half and Utd had more chances and played the better footy in the 2nd half.

As I thought, more of the same next season then. FM the fact remains we don't have a World class squad and as a supporter who expects my team to be beating Man Utd and Chelsea to titles then seeing the manager refusing to spend money is extremely frustrating. I'm afraid I am increasingly backing the ideas of David Dein and his consortium who believes Arsenal needs a lot of investment to make us true challengers to Chelsea and Man Utd's squads.
That is the only issue as far as I see it, his refusal to mix a blend of youth and experience.
