Berbatov
So who's going to get him in the January window then? I don't think Wenger will splash the cash even though we need a World class striker. Man Utd would be the obvious bet but after getting Tevez where would Berbatov fit in? Chelsea have too many strikers already unless they sell Drogba.
Who's the best bet then as I don't think he will still be at Spurs by February?

Can't see him going anywhere - still got another 2 years on his contract after this one, but if Manure come up with the rumoured £40m they were going to offer in the summer then how could Spurs resist?

When Spurs are still struggling in the bottom half of the table come January and not going to win anything then we'll see how eager Berbatov is to stay when he has offers from clubs that can give him regular Champions League football and the chance to really shine on the biggest stage.

Don't need him, we have enough options up front plus the attacking midfielders we have too.
Would have being a good addition had we not got Tevez.

Saha out and Berbatov in would be how I see it. Saha fit and with confidence is great... but it's too infrequent these days. Fergie would give Berb a kick up the **** if he got sulky head on.

With Rooney out for the next four weeks, it's make or break time for Saha. Personally, I see him crumbling under the pressure again.

I would have liked to see Rossi more for united. I dont think he had much of a chance to prove himself in the 1st team
It's all well and good Berbatov having a great season last year but a truely great striker (and any player for that matter) does it season after season and i dont think he's all he's cracked up to be.
