He is the son of our youth team coach Tony Philliskirk. We had, still have very high hopes for him, looks like a natural footballer and with the right coaching at Chelsea could become very successful. Its nice to see him go to a big club etc but its also annoying seeing our great potentiol players being snatched by big clubs who will probably discard them in a few years if they dont look like world class.
These are the type of kids we need to hang onto. Seems we are losing players like this all the time. Not long ago Everton took Spensor off us, dubbed the new Wayne Rooney.
The club aint giving us details of the deal either.
