Boxing last night
Anyone else watch the boxing last night? I thought the two big fights were a bit of a sham really. I didn't see enough to think that the guys that lost were actually boxing at all. Both headed for the ropes literally from the off, and I don't really remember seeing any purposeful punches at all from them. They just acted like punchbags.
If I'd have gone to watch the fights I'd have been a bit peed off with the opposition fighters and their lack of quality.

I think in Manfredo's case, after the first few seconds he realised he was fighting a man with talent, rather than some hobo from the streets of Wisconsin. I was disappointed with his attitude too - I watched the Contender and he came across in that as a very genuine, stand-up guy, yet was all mouth over here, proclaiming himself as the 'real' Rocky and so on. He was evidently out of his depth and it was embarrassing.
In terms of Khan, I didn't expect much else. The lad has so much potential that it's just a case of throwing lambs to slaughter to build his experience.
