Saha is a waste of space and will be the reason we dont win the title this year. Great free kick but it wasnt a foul by vidic - then again I think the pen was a tad harsh.

What a result for the Bhoys!!
No doubt we were on the back foot for the first half but as they say, posession means nothing if you do nothing with it.
Get in there big Artie Boruc and wee Naka.

TBH for most of the match neither team looked at their best. Man U looked like they were more concerned about avoiding defeat than actually going out and winning the game.
Have to admit for much of the match Man U were the better team.
But Celtic won !

NAKA BORUC
OH Yes and Gordon, great sub. at half time.
Man Utd. were the better team (50/50 on the foul) but what a free kick.
You will beat Benfica and take your place NAE BOTHER.

I was there and it was fookin great......
A few opinions.........
First half Celtic were pants and didn't have a lot of ball, seemed to have a disfunctional midfield that were scared to look up and pass. United didn't do anything with the possession they had, Boruc had only one save to make and that was after Balde gave it away to Ronaldo.
Half time stats showed 48% to Celtic but I think this flattered us a bit.
Second half was much better, with Jiri and Maloney off the bench.
Didn't think it was a free kick but what a strike............
Didn't think it was a pen but would probably been claiming a pen if roles were reversed . Swings and roundabouts.
A few good saves from the keeper and a great free kick gave us the points.
All the papers/pundits saying that it is a historic result, but for me better teams have came to Parkhead and left with nothing. 1 loss in 26 European home games tells a story......
....but, next time we face any English team, we will be back to being complete underdogs with no change of a win.....when will the press/pundits learn..........
