Whilst I pity the guy and genuinely feel sorry for him with his ailment the timing could have been a lot better, only last week he's saying he's itching to get back amongst it, and then after two ****e innings, surely some coincedence, he's off home, he should never have been in Aus in the 1st place as it was clear he wasn't over his "Stress"

On the upside looks like Cook will start could be our star player in this series and with Pietersen warming up nicely, plenty to look forward to

I think it will actually work to our benefit, no one need worry about whether Tresco is going to crack and instead we'll have Cook with confidence at an all time high wanting to smack the aussies about, bring it on, I doubt we'll get stuffed 5-0, hopeful we can grab a draw and retain the Ashes

Pietersen hit 122 and Jimmy Anderson was taking wickets, warming up nicely things are improving, they'll be ready for the old men of Oz

That said looking forward to seeing Warne do his thing, he's different grade.
