Kelly Slater wins 8th World Title
One of the most dominant sportsmen in history yet I imagine hardly anyone knows who he is other than the surfer dude in Baywatch many years ago.
Shocking to see that career earnings are under $2m bearing in mind the high risks of surfing big waves and the fact that a golfer could win that in a couple of comp wins.

Don't worry, I'm sure his sponsors prevent him from having to rummage through bins for food.
I'd also suggest that he does it for the love of the sport, rather than the lousy $2m odd.
I guess that's the Aussie way of doing things. No champagne, just a few cans of Fosters to celebrate with.

Yep Im sure hes earned rather a few million from Quiksilver through the years.
