I don't suppose for one second there can possibly be more than one QPR fan here. But I am quite pleased with the appointment. He was a bit of a hero of mine in the 80's and he did do good things with Villa. At least we have a recognised name, and I was never convinced about Waddock.

Of course there is the Paldini's "best mate" angle, but hopefully this will actually lead to less tension between board room and pitch.

Certainly I think Gregory represents our best chance of staying up this season.

 

I liked gregory at the Villa. He had a good record other than the fact that he was always more entertaining than his team.
