Either would have been a good choice, although easier for Mac to choose Terry when he's going to have to rotate Lampard and Gerrard... maybe

i think terry was the right choice . i always believe the captain should be a defender that way they can lead from the back and also have a better view of the game. terry is a good leader , hes got to be really when he plays for a team like chelsea and all there diva,s

Terry thye choice for most but for gerro would've been mine as i think he's in the right place on the pitch to command all areas ,

great choice. To me he is very much like Tony Adams. (its the only way I can make myself like him )

As much as I dislike Chelsea, I do have a lot of respect for Terry.

He needs to try and keep his dick in his pants now though, any future transgressions are going to get far wider coverage than before
