Not a chance.

He'll be at Stamford Bridge by the weekend for an extortionate price, mark my word.

Probably lend Wenger a young lad for an hour, should get him to change his mind, always think better after a release.

'Wenger delighted by young Gunners' - that headline had me in stitches earlier.

If they paid 21 mil for SWP then cole at a similar age and an established England int is worth more. Chelski have just spatt he dummy out.. they'll fork out as that's all they have. Cash. No class.

If they want one of the best in the World in that position then they have to pay the price for him, not some cut price fee because its an English club they are buying from

Either they cough up or he stays an Arsenal player, simple really.
aint no way Wenger is going to let jose pull his pants down and shaft him on this one.

If I was Arsenal I'd tell them the price has just gone up.

the best left back is gianluca zambrotta twice the player cole is and chelsea could have got him for 8.75 million.

More likely he'll tell him not to make the same mistake he did and get the flock out of there!

chelsea did look at zambrotta but were to slow and he when to barca and the reason he a better player than cole is he is better defensively then cole and can play leftback/midfield or rightback/midfield i will admit being nearly 30 does go against him but chelsea just paid 30 million for a 30 old striker and he's just won the world cup.

wtf has 30 got to do with it? Cafu is very active up the flanks and hes a smidge older than 30 Chelsea were happy to buy Roberto Carlos as second choice to Cole and hes 33. Doesnt look like he wants to leave Real though so Chelsea obviously turned their attention back to Cole.

For what its worth I think Cole is defo leaving, he didnt even feature in Arsenals team photo for this season yesterday. That speaks volumes for me. They know Chelsea have the money theyre just going to hold out. Cant see Chelsea changing their target at this stage into the talks.

Dont rate bridge personally, for a left footed player he doesnt like using his left foot. always cutting back in. Bit like Joe Cole really but Joe pulls it off much better continuing his runs across the box looking for the shot or pass. Bridge seems to like cutting in and putting an inswinging cross in the box, which isnt a bad thing but its very predictable.

i'm not saying cole is a bad player far from it but is he really worth 25 million and cole has acted very poorly imo towards arsenal and i'm not sure if i really want a player like that at the bridge.

Looked for some of the stats, but couldn't find them. I'd put money on him having scored more goals, made more assists AND having more international caps than Ashley Cole. And I'd be willing to bet that most neutrals (of which I'm admittedly not one) would rate him as generally the better player.

He didn't have a great world cup, no. But then, he hadn't played for nearly a whole season. And Mr. Cole wasn't exactly a stand-out player either.
