Despite growing up in North Yorkshire during his heyday (and hating the place) and never liking Cricket, I was sad to hear Freddie died today. Another legend gone and a real character. Few of them left I'm afraid.

Yep - great bowler. Must have been quick at the end as he was only diagnosed in May.
