I'm afraid the Europeans and latins have taken a mans game and turned it into an act. I lost count of the number of times a Portugese went down crippled from a slight touch. No wonder they don't play rugby or any other sport that means you have to be tough...

It's a real shame that they can't play football how its meant to be. Brit teams are still playing like it's meant to be..

You lot are on crack if you're seriously trying to claim that the diving and cheating doesn't extend to the England team! Terry was asking the ref to show cards to opponents in the previous game and even Gerard dived for a pen recently. It's not a part of the game anyones happy about but the bottom line is...they're all at it.

To try and say that the reason England lost is because Portugal cheated 'better' and that's what you should do next time is exactly the mentality that has got us where we are now.

You got beat pretty much fair and square by the better side on the day and the white elephant that is Rooney did exactly what every objective person in the country thought he might do when the weight of expectation and the English nations hopes were exclusively (& unfairly) resting on his shoulders alone ...lost it - again!!

As for the Ronaldo stuff...personally never liked the guy and always thought he lacked end product but if you are seriously trying to suggest that noising up a club team mate pre-game and then exploiting his well-known attitude problem amounts to anything more than astutue play then your incredibly naive. Sunday league managers will tell their players to take advantage of a known weakness or hot head player so why the surprise that it happens at this level?
