Wednesday night Soccer
These are the games tonight. Looking forward to seeing some prem! fed up with all the cup games... think thats becuase Arsenal have been knocked out of 2! anyway! lets chase the Spuds!!
Aston Villa v Chelsea
Villa have not lost to Chelsea at home in their last six Premiership games. Chelsea have never thrown points away from a leading position away from home in The Premiership under Jose Mourinho.
Man City v Newcastle
City have lost only one of their seven Premiership home games against Newcastle. No Magpies player has scored away from home in the league other than Michael Owen or Alan Shearer since September.
Portsmouth v Bolton
Pompey have bagged just five goals in their last 12 matches. Bolton concede proportionally more goals in the second half than any other top-flight side - 70 percent.
Arsenal v West Ham, Live on Sky Sports 2 20.00
The Gunners have won their last eight Premiership home games against West Ham. Teddy Sheringham has scored against Arsenal for each club he has played for since leaving Nottingham Forest, except West Ham.
Blackburn v Man United, 20.00
Rovers have won only four of their 23 Premiership meetings with United. The Red Devils have failed to win in any of their last five league visits to Ewood Park.
Liverpool v Birmingham, 20.00
Liverpool have won their last eight home games without conceding a goal in the process. Blues have gone 284 minutes since scoring an away goal in The Premiership

Pompeys new argie signing was brilliant, no other word to describe him. Toddy played a blinder too. Benjarni only just got back from the African nation having played the day before but did very well too......Maybe too late but that was the best I have seen them play for a long time. Newcastle away at the weekend, maybe just maybe ....

Cant believe Blackburn beat Man United!! I was in the pub (drinking my J2-0-Yeah) reading the updates from my phone! I cant believe we were down by 3-0 by the end of the first half! Sounds like Donkey (Rudd) was on form though, unless they were all passes to the box lol! They pulled it back quite well from what ive read, just not enough!
I was hoping Livepool would lose due to where they are in the Premiership, but atleast they didnt get the full 3 points!!

After we scored the noise was deafening. The old Fratton roar was back. We had 80% of the Milton end too and they were starting chants left right and centre. Nice to see and hear it starting in other places as well as the fratton end.
An air of expectancy me thinks.
I would like to see Benny and toddy upfront with Lua Lua on one wing and Allesandro on the other mmmmmmm
