Become a club member and apply, join a local supporters branch and apply for tickets, Use sites like Ticket master, tickets on the black market outside the ground. Not saying you won't pay over the odds for a ticket but there are ways
But agreed there does seem to be quite a few armchair supporters on here

Its even easier to pay you 30 quid a month for Sky, sit in your armchair and bitch about how crap other teams are because your current choice of team are winning the league
It really annoys me as it my weekend that gets f**ked up having to travel to games for 1pm, 4pm, 8pm Ko times just to put the games on TV for the armchair army, I loose days at work, and spend a fortune following Tottenham around this country but strongly believe all games maybe baring one a week ( It is nice to watch a game on a Sunday afternoon ) should be a Saturday 3pm Ko and if the Armchair army want to view they alter their weekend around football and tune in.
I wonder how many of you "supporters" would pay 40 quid to watch a game on the telly ??

Ah the good old days when football was played at 3pm on a Saturday.
We should go back to that. I bet kids aren't interested in it anymore because there is too much of it on TV.
You can already see the effect on cup games, the grounds are half empty.

Personally I think people who pay the prices to go to games these days are mugs. it costs a fortune.
Myself. I play on a Sat and train during the week and will do so as long as I can. enjoy watching football. love playing it!

Does that make us all mugs ??
I wouldn't say we were mugs, the ticket pricing gets blown out of all proportion, you here stories of season tickets costing £1200 to £1800 and people paying £70+ for a game but that is only in one place within the ground for a small minority of fans. From my experience the tickets ( Can only say as an away fan at grounds other than WHL ) range from £25 - £35 with a couple of odd exception like Chelsea £48 and Birmingham City £45 !!
The big gripe I have is how they get away with charging a lot more for the same seat just because of the opposition, Spurs have a 3 teir grading and I think its wrong. I know its about supply and demand, but the fans are the heart of a club !!
