It depends on whether the parking will be the same as Matchdays. I park in a car park next to the trafford hotel, or behind White City. Both are a fiver and only a short walk.

edit, Might help if I told you where it is!

White City is off Chester Road, take a left at the BMW garage to bring you behind it, keep going and you will see the back of the retail units, usually a guy in a yellow coat letting people on and off

The Trafford Centre is some way away. Not walkable by anyone sane anyway.

If its a sell out then most of the carparks around OT will be open as a normal footy match. If you just get to Chester Road and get as close as you can by car and slip in one of the nearby paid carparks. I wouldn't bother parking too close in though otherwise it will take you ages to get your car out.

On matchdays, the nearer you park, the more expensive it is. I tend to park at the Imperial War Museum North, which is a short walk away, or at the Bronnington car park next door, both about £4 ish to park. But if the parking is anything like a match day then there will be plenty of places, but the nearer ones tend to fill up quicker.

It's not that far from the ringroad to the ground, only a 10 min drive or so, depending on which way you go.
