What Scottish ski centre for snowboarding?
Of the five centres:-
Nevis range
Glencoe
Glenshee
Cairngorm
The Lecht
Which is better for boarding and has the least number of button/drag lifts (I can't do 'em!), and advise on travel options e.g. are they all fly/drive?
Never been to Scotland for winter sports but fancy giving it a try prob in Feb06.
Cheers

Check well in advance for snow conditions; it's been sh!te for years. Normally the East is colder in Scotland and get more snow lower down. You'll get bags of snow on the moutains, but unless you're a Mountaineer or do back-country ski mountaineering the traditional runs may only see snow for a short period.
I know some people from work managed one weekend last season on the lower runs.
I would hedge a bet and say Caingorms or the Lecht will be your best bet.
Check out here regulalry - http://ski.visitscotland.com/conditions/
As for getting there. You could fly to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Aberdeen and then drive.
It's probably cheaper and easier to fly to Geneva and spend a weekend in Chamonix.

If you want to avoid button lifts and all that, give Cairngorm a go - there's a train which goes the best part of the way up the mountain, which goes at fairly frequent intervals - It certainly did 2 years ago anyway, but feel free to correct me
There are t-bars and button thingies as well, to get you further up, and it was all pretty good the year I went there. Ski hire's fairly thick on the ground as well.
I was only going accross from Aberdeen mind you, so it wasn't that far to go.

It depends, but I know plenty of folk that have happily bummed around Chamonix without spending fortunes. if you do the typical tourist stuff you'll get fleeced for sure.
If you want expensive try Verbier
