Well done to Chelsea you were playing like champs, stepping up to the next level just like Utd and **** have done in the past, its great when your team is in that vein of form, total confidence, a few too many passengers in the Utd ranks again, it will be interesting to see what Utd do, fergie is going to need £30-40m to get some players in and as they are potless he'll have to sell to generate cash and i cant see who he can sell to get anywhere near that amount, bar shrek!

Well done to Chelsea last night, we did not deserve to win. Not one player gave a crap about even trying last night. Chelsea are worthy champions this season, bought or not.
You know its comments like this that will get you lot hated even more than us. There are a couple of things wrong there. One, you couldn't sell your allocation for your 1st away after becoming champions which is **** poor let alone the fact that it was at Old Trafford. Two, if you weren't at the game yourself, you are hardly in a position to take the mickey out of our support.
Like I say though, your team deserved the win and the championship. Lets just see if we give you a scrap next season.

It will be interesting next season... I dont think utd have got what it takes though for next year, they're defo gonna need ruud to start scoring again... and the loss of Scholesy (
) will be a big loss (
) think you need some players who WANT to play... you looked a little lost last night.

out of interest, how long do you think fergie will stay? I get the impression he doesnt want to leave on a low and will try to win something that means something before he retires.... although I dont think it'll happen anytime soon hes gotta give it up at some point, hes looking desperate now.
The good news for Utd is that they seem to have stemmed their recent fall from greatness - looks like 3rd should be achievable for next year
.
Told you lot last year and I'll tell you again this year - SAF needs to go - He's taken Utd as far as he can !

Chelski had more of a cutting edge. Silvestre is not a left back and Wes brown was always 5 yards in front on the rest of the defenders. I'm not a fan of this 4-5-1 morphing 4-3-3 formation. I means going forwards the centre forward is isolated and the team lacks natural width (A hallmark of United teams over the years). I also feel we are lacking that pace and energy in the centre of midfield. We where used to seeing United break at pace turning defence into attack within seconds. It was almost every other week you would see a goal on Match of the day being timed from the time the keeper had the ball to the time United had scored at the other end.
Gudjohnsen is a class act.

I think Fergie will stay one more season, tops. He doesn't pick the teams anymore or take training anymore. CQ is making most of the decisions at the moment hence this ****ty 4-5-1 we keep playing that just doesn't help us at all.
I think that before Fergie goes CQ must walk first, purely out of respect for SAF and his input to the club. There are a lot of people getting giddy and wanting him out now, which in some respects I can agree with. But personally I would prefer to see him take charge completely again and get back to old ways.
Keane needs to go/be given some competition. We play this 4-5-1 for his benefit to protect his legs which emotions aside is a terrible thing to do. Its making Ruud unhappy, it means playing Rooney out of position and puts all the pressure on Ronaldo. All not good things.
Hopefully a decent clearout of about 6 or 7 players this summer will fix things, or at least spark a comeback. I wouldn't worry about Silvestre, he is almost certainly out of the door anyway.

seems to me the big two clubs in England are Chelsea-Arsenal now, it will be an interesting tussle next year to see if Utd can win the prized Coke Cup or whatever it's called now and fight off the challenge of the mighty Spurs and Southampton.
Bye United, been an interesting era - see you in 30 years when you pop your heads up again

Who won the league in 2003?
2003 was 2 years ago for a start...
we was told it'll be silly to write utd off last year too.... look what happened. it does look ever increasingly that utd have lost their TEAM as such and will go into a freefall like Liverpool did in the late 80s early 90's they look a long way off recovering too

I wasn't trying to say United won the league in 2003 so they are still a major force, I was referring to the article i linked to, which is dated september 2002 and is talking about United in decline, my point was they won the league that year.
Same story when Arsenal won back in 1998, balance of power shifted etc etc, United won the next 3 league titles in a row after that and grabbed a few other trophies too.
Chelsea have done well this season, Mourinho has came in and turned 2nd best into winners, it's not an easy step to take form 2nd place to 1st. However the hardest step is winning it next year. Everyone will want to beat Chelsea and to be considered a great team as Mourinho himself has said they need a couple more league titles.

Exactly what Richard P says.
Winning a championship is one thing, retaining it is an entirely different kettle of fish. I think that things will be open next year amongst 4 teams. United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea maybe with a bit of Everton in there for good measure.

As muuch as i hate the arrogance that Mourinho gives off, you do have to admire him ... ok, yes , he has had the bonus of a open bank account, but he has made a team, of the people he has brought in........ pretty similar to what Moyes has done at Everton, on far less a budget...
But, fair play to Mourinho, yes..to be great, they have to win more..!! This year is their first championship in 50 years. Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal are the only real greats at the moment.
* hell did i say that about Man U, and Arsenal - just off to get some tablets
Frank

Mourhino is a good manager, no doubt. But many of that star studded squad were brought in by Ranieri prior to Mourhino arriving. Lets see what he does with the next couple of years.

Well said Angry, with all around losing their heads some sensible comments, but as I said I can't see Fergie raising enough cash with what he's got to sell.

It was a meaningless game for us, whereas you needed to beat us for some pride, maybe thats why the allocation was not met?
Why should me not being there, not put me in a position to take the mickey? Maybe you should question your own fans not sticking around til the end. As you were singing to the Chelsea fans last night "where were you when you were ****" where will you now be now YOUR ****
