Angry Atouba's Elbow

Did anyone else see the elbow on Saturday??

The FA have charged the guy with Violent conduct, but in the same sentence they say he could be banned for 3 matches, 3 matches for a brutal assault leaving Barton with 8 stitches around his eye socket, what a f*cking joke !! the result of his elbow could have been far worse, ala Gary Mabs.

There is no need or room for this type of thing in football and it should be dealt with properly, 10 match ban, redirect all his wages from the 10 games and give them to a charity, like an FA benevolent fund for players who's careers have been cut short through injury, a 3 match ban and a £2k fine won't do a thing to deter this sort of behaviour.

I was there but never saw it happen as it was off the ball !!

Well personally I hope he gets banned for a long time he is a f**kin liability when he plays for us

He cost is the cup game at Newcastle, and was lucky not to get sent off !!

I don't know what Martin Jol see's in him as a player but everyone I know thinks
he is totaly useless !!!

Edman and Ziegler are my choices for left back and left midfield

Mark.

Another spurs fan here - and I don't really rate Atouba despite the winner he got at St. James early on - gives the ball away too cheaply, can't wait until Sean Davis is fit again.

Have to agree with Edman & Zeigler - I think the latter has taken to English footie quite well.

Totaly agree, Sean davis is fit agin he came on for the last 20 minutes at Charlton last week. Trouble is he is to simalar to Michael Brown and I wouldn't drop him at the mo, Carrick on the other hand I would !! Think he needs a kick up the ar$e, can be so lazy at times !!!

Was good to see Ziegler get his first senior call up for the Swiss too
