Newcastle V Heerenveen
well the result was right for a newcastle fan though at times they did'nt desurve it. all i'll say is what a difference a winger makes. Robert came on and changed the game, gave us some width though he was playing in the middle at times. bit hasrh on bowyer but the second one was a booking, two good goals and bramble ***** it up again
the crowd got it right "sack the board". my only worry is IF we do well in either this or the FA cup it might keep souness in a job, not a good situation. on to the next leg

Thinking long term for Newcastle, most supporters have given up for this season and consolidation is the key word.
We'll get no where with Souness in charge and its been proven by the clubs he's 'managed'
On tonights game, I thought we'd get a draw and lose on pens at SJP
Despite the win it'll be no walk over in the return fixture.
