Is Eriksson on ******* drugs!
How ******* ****e were England tonight
The most promising young right sided midfielder spends the first hour on the left, whilst the best candidate for that position in a generation spends that time keeping the bench warm
The only striker who gets the full ninety minutes is the one who can't even hold down a first team place at club level
then to cap it all, he brings on Andy Johnson, a player who plays (bloody well)as a lone striker week in, week out, and puts him on the right wing
IMO the only weak link in the England Football Squad now is the manager

BTW for those who think I'm having a rant about Eriksson on the basis of one ****e performance, I am not. I didn't rate him when he was at Lazio.
Any manager who's plied his trade in Italy for any length of time is no bleeding use to anyone. If we wanted a boring football team, me could have signed George Graham FFS

Sorry can't stop laughing at the title of this thread
Pretty damn poor but it was only a friendly, Wright-Phillips had some great chances.
Overall a game easily forgotten.

And where were Owen and Beckham? And WTF was Hargreaves doing getting a game?
And so on, and so on, and so on.
A waste of 2 hours of my time this evening.

I sat down after eating my tea just as the second half started.
I watched five minutes and then swapped over to 24 on DVD. Sounds like I made the correct choice!

In the pub they flicked over from the cricket at 19.35, just as Pietersen was getting into his stride, I said at the time i'd rather watch the cricket, although we lost I think I was proved right!!

Since the last friendly Squirrel Nutkin has earned a cool 1 million pounds and what has he learnt for his money in that time?
Well nothing except gaining a degree in how to play people out of position and how to poorly try to emulate the tactics of the respected Jose Mourino...
I could do a better job... I'll submit my application today!

I wasted 30 quid paying to go and watch for some stupid reason !!
Really wish I had at least spent the thirty quid down the pub in the warm, then I may not have stayed out until stupid o'clock this morning on the pi$$ when I had to be at work for 7:30 !!
I think Sven is a waste of time, what we need is to get a manager in who has genuine passion for his country not an over paid foreigner
I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Alan Curbishly get the job
Mark.

I said it when Sven was appointed, and I stick by it now, but personally I'd quite like to see Steve McLaren given a chance.

I didn't watch the game owing to having been stuck in traffic on teh way home, but the bits I saw on highlights looked boring.
