Default World cup tickets 2005,how does it work?

Tickets go on sale Feb 1st 2005,but there's no seeding or anything yet,is it just pot luck or do they save some for later in the year when the groups are announced?

I think you can get a team ticket type thingy (dunno if it's reserved for members of the supporters clubs) whereby you get a ticket for all the games your team plays, right through to the final if they get there. If not, I guess it's just tickets for a particular date in a particular stadia and hope it's who you want to see.

tickets DONT go on sale. as of 1st of february you can apply for a ticket as will millions of others. chances are you wont get simple as..... 15th of april you'll be selected at random if you get ya tickets or not. only about 60% of the tickets are actually going on sale, presumably 40% are being saved for supporters clubs etc.....

tickets can ONLY be bought by mastercard (official sponsor etc) also you can apply for tickets for england (presuming the get through) matches, all 3 group games for example. so you'd be able to get to them, then prices change etc the closer you get to the final etc....

Basically its pot luck. 4 tickets MAX per household. I'll be sending my application off soon. FIFA also announced there is no rush to get ya application in,. its not first come first servers. as said its luck of the draw

Dave, how can you apply for england tickets when you dont know what group they are in,i'm assuming you apply for tickets for a ground/date not a team.

How the **** are they managing to get away with that one If that's not a blatant abuse of trading practice, I don't know what is!

Fly into Paris, drive to Germany from there in a hire car

Bring Cash

Pay the rate 30 mins before the game

Dont go via calais without tickets as you simply will not get let in

Job done

If you aint got a ticket, watch it in a bar.

Bring body armour as the german old bill bash you before so much as look at you

Enjoy

Paul, apply for the england tickets and they'll be allocated to a ground etc as and when teams get through and the draw is done. all they are doing is promising you a ticket providing england get through

Yep, have already applied for England TSTs (team specific tickets). Thats the best way of trying to follow England. Different TST packages are available depending on how many matches you wish to follow your team, ie only the group stages, or into the knockout part of the tournament. It is pot luck though. Expect the England TSTs to be heavily oversubscribed, so you have to rely on the ballot pulling your name out.

Otherwise join the England members club, about £75 I think, and order tickets to all England games before 2006 to get as many loyalty points as possible before the club allocate their tickets!

By 2006 most of the England team will be players from Chelsea so going is a must .
