Sorry did I miss something?
From the results it appears we beat Exeter. I'm also pretty sure we are in the Premiership whilst Exeter currently reside in the conference. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that means we are the better team.
To the 7000 extra people who showed up at St James Park last night compared to the 2,000 average attendance of real Exeter fans the phrase...
"You're only here to see United"
seems very appropriate.

don't get me wrong
i'm no city fan at all, but if you support utd, and it seems you do, then what the **** kind of performance was that really?
as you say it was quite rightly a win, but for a while there, it looked a pretty balanced game.
still, hey ho
i think that chant was pretty quiet compared to poor old rooney's kaning for being "big boned".

Oh dear Mrs Manny - I'm presuming you didnt watch the game?
Exeter struggled againt Billericay in the FA trophy last weekend where as the mighty reds were humbling the scousers in their own back yard .
The game last night was as you would expect - A premier league team trying to get a job done without any injuries against a gang of non leaguers for whom this was the second biggest night of their football career.
it was a good solid united performance... Job done and seeing how Man Sh1tty, The Bin Dippers and the Villa were all humbled by lower league opposition, us United fans can smile and test ourselves against the best North East team in England in round 4...
Nice
