Has anybody ever noticed when somebody like Linford Christie won medals he was English and when the ladies curling team won gold at the winter olympics they were suddenly British, kicking everybodies **** at footie ha ha ha come on you won the WC once (surprisingly on your own ground ) but then us glorious Scots came to your ground the next year and stuffed you so that means that we were in fact the unofficial World Champs.

YES but you have ballsed up COMPLETELY your parliment with OUR money!!

True but then we didn't build an upside down soup plate with tax payers money and that ever so lovely eye thingy to allow yourselves to get above the smog for a couple of mins to get some fresh air.
p.s. shouldn't that read 'you have completely ballsed up your parliment'

Still missinig answers for my other points I put to you
At least we don't get threatened by FIFA at every competition about the behaviour of our fans.
Also please remember we almost kicked you out of euro 2000 once again in your own stadium, amazing that it was meant to be the last international held in that crumbling mess until we stuffed you once again.

Thats PURELY because you scots don't get taunted by opposing fans see? EVERYONE wants to challenge an English supporter as he is considered hard and tough ...........

Not much street cred and honour in beating up a bloke in a dress is there?????????????????????

Question

Rangers - if thats the best that Scotland can offer football wise then they are 'avin a larf!!!

Stick to Kieber throwing and making mens dresses!!

Maybe we could allow Rangers to enter the 3rd division?? I doubt they would move up however!

Chunky

How refreshing...

A non English person with a chip on his shoulder..

Why is it that everybody else is 'patriotic' when slagging the English off or taking the pi$$... but we are arrogant when we do exactly the same thing?

I'm sure every Scotsman would have quietly sat around and not said anything if Rangers had won... yeah right...

Be a man and take the jovial criticism...

Well, maybe I over reacted! Must admit the reason I get annoyed is that I do actually support BRITISH teams in European / World competitions. On Tuesday night I couldn't have given a toss who won, just wanted to see a good game of football and Rangers giving a decent account of themselves. None of those things happened - average game, Rangers were rank rotten.

Cheers,

Chunky

P.S...Alan C my patriotism is not based on anti-anything, it's based on my heritage and pride in the place that I live. That includes cabers and kilts. Your mistaking patriotism for narrow minded nationalism - 2 different things.

Come on Pete, it was 1966 FFS almost thirty years ago and you have won sod all since
At least we built our own national stadium with our own money, I see the NATIONAL lottery are suppling most of the money for yours (how the heck is it a national lottery when they give money to the EFA and not to the SFA?????)

A fully dressed up Scotsman in a kilt is a very appealing thought.

Gutted I was when the scots qualified for the next round of the rugby world cup, absolutely gutted.

You scots always root for whoever the English teams (in any sport) play against, so why should it come as such a shock when we respond in kind?

Thumbs up

National Lottery, as you KNOW - there has been a BIG swing away from putting money into losers ..... only into winners.

Hence, sadly, SFA get Sweet FA and the EFA (winners) get the pot

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to respond

Nice frock you got on there!!
