OMG, and why did he do it to arguably one of our best loved players too? That bloke is a disgrace.

I feel sorry for when he gets back to England and is walking home from a club etc on a Saturday night

Just before the match I'd commented to my dad that by the end of the match, he would probably hate Alpay - how true that turned out to be.

If Collina does report the incident, then I reckon Beckham could get in trouble as well - it was pretty obvious that he was attempting to butt Alpay.

Would have loved to have seen the tunnel incident - supposedly Heskey was the first to get involved. Bit of a puff on the field, but I still wouldn't like to come up against him in such a situation!

Crackin' result! - Portugal, here we come!

Sad to see that from turkey but if it helps them to win i suppose its the way they need to work to get the result.

<<<He should be fined heavily for incitement! Dirty *******!>>>

Let's see what punishment The FA dish out to Arsenal/Man U first. SURELY FIFA MUST act, as it was on TV: bringing the game into disrepute? Shouldn't matter if Bottle-less Collina reports it or not.
He should report himself, the bottle-less git. He's a joke!

ban beckham I say.

Alpay simply said something to him and he tried to assult him! talk about over reaction. You can't go round trying to headbutt people it's not right.

Maybe Beckham should learn to take penalties to, that was one of the worst I've ever seen.

And why is it typical villa? Do other teams not have players like that?

I remember a couple of years back when Bekham lost us the match against Argentina by kicking out other players, trying his hardest to break other players legs, although he was lying on the ground... maybe he had just taken a penalty?

MattN,he does know how to take penalties and normally VERY good ones but then again perhaps you don't watch much football,so really i should take your reply with a pinch of salt

I do agree Beckham was a bit petulant a few years ago but hes been a great captain and its other players which seem to either envy him or just plain hate him, thats probably why he gets kicked at and swore at all the time.

Hi all,

Been a long time since i was on here.

I agree alpay is a disgrace, but i object to the title "Typical Villa player". Ok, we are sh*t , but i don't think that alpay typifies a villa player. That hurts! .

What alpay did was unforgiveable and has no place whatsoever in football. Many villa fans (me included) don't want him playing for us ever again, but we didn't want him a while ago. He is a two-faced idiot, who says he wants to play for us and then slags us off. I've got a season ticket so have seen him play for us a lot this season already, and the guys a joke. He's been directly responsible for a number of goals we have conceded. How he was in the world cup 11, is beyond me.

Hopefully his career in english football is finished, and we don't have to see/hear from him again.

Cheers,
Tom
