I would say it was Bernard. Hes not the best player we have but he has improved so much this season. I would say he was one of if not hte best left back in the league.

 

Got to say he's won me over after the West Ham debacle during the Summer. No doubts about my Player of the Season though - Alan Shearer, with JJ the Young Player.

 

Shearer - purely because without him you wouldnt be where you are this season.

Glad Bernard didn't go to Hammers. Player of the season has to Shearer closely followed by Dyer IMHO. Dodgy referee at Everton but that's been the Toon's story all season. The big one on Saturday against Man U! Hope my mate sells his season ticket to me again next season. We are the Geordies...

 

Olly was superb against Inter, no one got past him, he never moans, back chats, he just walks away from trouble backwards shaking those dreads !

Most imporved without a doubt. I think JJ has been brilliant this season, and i just wish hugo got a decent run in the team with out getting bloody injured !

Just wait till next season !

 

Ps - although i live in stoke, i am actually from chester-le-street, which is too close to the maccams for comfort !

No, England's loss is our gain. Besides, when he did play for England, he was slagged off for every mistake, whether he made them or not.

Fingers crossed he'll be Player's Player of the Season too!

shearer has to be player of the season, i mean 16 league goals this season and was supposadly finished 2 years ago
though given has`nt played as well as he did last season he`s had more clean sheets this year. work that out :confused
