First time it struck me...but...listening to Scotland's fans singing 'send Edward's army, home tae think again' followed by England singing 'send her victorious...'

Though it was all a bit dated and that England should get a grip on the 21st century and not still beat its imperical and colonial chest in order to please its Queen! All that strife for just one bird ?

Maybe the Scots and the Welsh would then ditch the archaic and anti English agressor lines in their respective anthems - I wanna be mates and we should move on

D

**** you Diesel - When we take the Slam you can be sure that there will be a new song to celebrate

(In case you can't remember - when was the last time England took the Grand Slam at Landsdown Road? Could it be 1928?..... How many times have they lost it against Ireland )

BTW - Moose racer - can you enlighten us as to when England last won the gran slam in Dooblin. Also, all the times England could have won it at Lansdown road and didn't would be helpful. Trying to decide where the tenner goes

And the past counts for.......

I'll have your tenner if you like, although perhaps you'd best put it on Ireland - you'll get long odds

*surely Engerland can't bottle it in the last game again, can they?
