The League's most prolific goal-scorer died yesterday aged 76, His record is still unbeaten, an incredible 434 goals in the 50's and 60's for Leicester and Shrewsbury Town.
I knew Arthur, he was an amazing character and I spent hours listening to his tales of what football was like from his era.
When he retired as a player, he went on to manage Shrewsbury for 3 years and was still active within the club, helping with fund-raising right up until his death.
I will sadly miss this great man
