Can't see it myself. Although I wouldn't mind as I think he is a top class striker, a lot of United fans don't want a scouser who, at the moment, happens to be at Lids!
I still can't believe the scousers sold him. I rated him the best of himself, St Michael and Heskey... Idiots!

Agreed Fowler was quality once (covered in a past thread), I cant see Utd buying him at the moment, he hasnt played properly for years, I still think Utd should have grabbed Litmanen on a free, a bit of creativity just in front of the midfield would be nice.
Ive heard all sorts this week, Fowler,Schevchenko, Bellamy (wouldnt mind him the no neck freak
) and Phillips (have a laugh)

Read the interview with Peter Kenyon that was in the new Red Issue that came out Tuesday night. Then go back to those names and ask yourself whether any of them, Schevchenko excepted, "fit the bill"?
