After seeing both the Nevs dropped last night, could they be on their way out??
Fergie still didnt look or sound happy, I think there could be some movement when that window opens, Phil Nev doesnt look like he'll be around much longer, especially if Fortune is now ahead of him.
I'd love to see another Cantona/Teddy style player, we need a brain in the midfield, and another world class striker to partner Ruud otherwise he will be shagged playing on his own up front.
Is Becks the player he was two/three years ago?? I for one think not, still wouldnt like to see him go though.

Get rid of Veron! I can't believe that Fergie keeps playing and praising him.
Veron (apart from his goal) was useless, no tackling and so many passes that went astray I lost count
Becks isn't the same player since he broke the bone in his foot, he now tends to jump out of tackles at the last second to avoid breaking it again... And whilst he was never the fastest player in the squad, he used to get up to the touchline and whip crosses in for Cole and Yorke, now he seems to rely on 40 yard diagonal ***** from the halfway line
Completely agree that we need a full time partner for Ruud as when he's up on his own he gets frozen out of the game quite easily.
Nick.
P.S. I can't wait for Keano and Nicky to get fit, then we'll see the real United back at OT

How we need Keano and Butty
I looked at that central midfield last night it was a bit soft to say the least, I agree with your point on Veron but unfortunately there is something about him that makes me want him to succeed and be the world class player I know he is, im sure im in a minority on this one

I'm praying for Veron too, he's world class, just doesnt seem to fit in at united
I dont think we'll sell anyone to be honest, we havent got a large enough squad. We need to grab an attacker though..
Stam still hasnt been payed for, so I think it'd be good for us to get him back again, doubt he or fergie feel the same way though

I reckon yer man Fergie is the one who has lost it. Fortunately it doesn't seem to have occurred to him yet that maybe he isn't the great tactical mastermind he thinks he is, you've not been the same since Kidd & McLaren left, especially defensively. Long may he continue

He'll be right back on track if he takes this advice.....
1) Swap Veron for Shevchenko
2) Swap Barthez for Kirkland (or my mum - either will stop more shots)
3) Swap Blanc for a doner kebab with extra chilli
4) Feed kebab to Roy before comeback match
Sorted. Hope he's logged into Scoobynet!
