Roeder Going?
#1
There is a rumour going about that Mr Roeder is about to be replaced by a certain (recent) former manager of the Irish national side, who will be taking the job on the premise that he must sell one of Cole, Carrick, or Defoe when the transfer window opens.
As far as getting rid of Glen I feel that, even though I have supported him in the past, he does not seem to have the ability to get us through this rut. I do not actually blame him as I feel that the board took the easy option on his appointment, any higher profile manager would have insisted on finance to buy in players. As for selling one of our younger players it stinks of the board selling down the river once again.
As for appointing the said former manager of the Irish national side, I cannot see what he can bring to us.
I also feel that the players must take some of the blame as they are the same ones that finished 7th last season.
The only other manager I can see being interested in the job is George Graham as he has been out of work for some time, however he will probably want some spending money. Football may be boring but at least we won't concede any goals.
The only real way for us to go forward as a club is for the current board to sell up and let in someone that has the finance and the desire to see West Ham succeed. In reality though there is no chance of this board going while the club can still be milked.
Got to go as I get more annoyed as I type.

Planky,
Unfortunatley I think most of the defence are sunday morning amatuers.
Relegation battle with Leeds on sunday, who would have thought that after last season.
