YES!!! Got up bright and early this morning ready for another 9 months of footie. Missus is really looking forward to it as well (NOT) as nearly every single match, including premiership plus games, go on in my gaff! I even drag her up to OT to watch United occasionally! I bet she loves it really!
Every close season drags out longer and longer. I can't believe there was a World Cup in there somewhere. Anyway it's here now so thank you Lord!
Let the season begin..........

Is it me or is there not enough games on a Saturday anymore to get really stuck into it should you not be at a game and be at home watching the Gillette Soccer Saturday scores and reports on Sky?
Yesterday was pretty normal and there were 7 Premiership games, as there are 2 on the box today and one tomorrow. That's all well and good to be able to watch those games on TV but it takes something away from the Saturday for me.....
Anyway, if United carry on playing 4-5-1, just to accomodate Veron, then on the tiny amount of evidence we've seen so far, I'm afraid Arsenal will walk it.....

I like it to be spread - it means we get the beautiful game at least 3 days from 7!
And Swin, let's hope Taggart keeps that line-up so Man U don't win!

I will forgive him for playing 4-5-1 away to Chelsea on Friday, although I would still prefer 4-4-2. However, if he plays 4-5-1 at home to Zeta that will confirm my suspicion that Fergie has indeed lost the plot.
With the Zeta game the following Tuesday, who would bet against him resting players for the Chelsea game this early in the season, with a mind to the Champions League game? I wouldn't....
