Default ENG vs SA

Wow

1st Test of the summer, looked like a classic ENG collapse was on the cards.

Yes we rode our luck but Root with heavy cold played some quality shots finding gaps with ease.

Love to see him go for it and make the double and possibly the triple century

Personally I'm not happy we've stopped wearing White and gone back to the more trad cream, although the late great Richie Benoit would approve

In my defence it was 40 odd yrs ago and Viv Anderson was playing for Forest across the road.

Think I made a Bumble.

Can't wait for the 2nd Test now was a superb start to the Summer's Test matches Only disappointment was Root not getting his double century but was great to see Mo get his 10 in an innings.

Well that was a complete let down I knew we wouldn't even make 200 in the 4th innings but didn't think it would be as bad as it was!
