I hate football but I love the World Cup!

Well perhaps hate is too strong but I'm definately not a fan.
Thanks to the football I had an awesome drive to work - the roads were empty. Instead of taking the usual hour it was set to take just 40min, so I took a diversion! I thought the main roads were empty but the B roads were even better. After 11/2 hours driving I arrived at work with the biggest smile and a perfect excuse.
So I can honestly say COME ON ENGLAND! And thank you Japan for putting on the game in the morning rush hour.

i sorta know what you mean but then again in the states the channels i get at home don't show any euro football matches so i have to watch the american or mexico games which always suck soooo
but occasionaly i catch a manchester united game at a friends house....
but over here world cup games are great especially the US and the Eng games...though the game this morning was rather uneventfull compared to the argentina game and the us v portugal game
