As I understand it... Whilst England was playing South Africa..KP was sending team info and tactics to SA captain G.Smith and other SA players.. KP also sent those same players racist and derogatory remarks regarding Strauss.
Obviously both KP and Strauss was born in SA..
Not to mention the book KP wrote...
IMHO he shouldn't be allowed any where near the England side..BUT he should be told that and why..

You'll be amazed at how many in the current England team or past was not born in England!!
KP, Strauss, Jonathan trott, Matt prior and jade dernbach are from South Africa..
Eion Morgan and Boyd rankin was born in Ireland
Ben stokes is actually a kiwi!!
Sam Robson is an Aussie!
And Chris Jordan is from Barbados..
Sadly playing for your country in cricket doesn't work like most other sports...
I think this has a VERY small part to play in how up and down we are..obviously it's not the total reason.. But I do think it plays a small part.

All of which have a British parent, bar Jordan (Grand parent) and Dernbach who's parents were Italian/South African and plays for England through british citzenship.
It's no biggy it's been happening in Cricket for decades, AUS/NZ/India have all had players born elsewhere, have a look at the UAE team from the WC not a local amongst them lol
