So the top ten threads are about football as are almost all the others on this page.

WTF is the attraction of a sport our nation is **** at while the stuff we CAN do gets very little attention.

Mattee I see your point - I often wonder at people who "spectate" at any sport - and In the final analysis, I can take or leave football - I have too much other stuff going on in my life

Plus I would much rather be actually doing it (hopefully with 5mtr sail an a NW/SE on the doom bar)

And I did a (rather shoddy) 10k run today


But and it is a big but, go to a football match, with 60 thousand people, boy the noise, the passion, it does get infectious

I wouldn't say they are retarded , its coming to the end of the season for football so things are hotting up in the title race so there is going to be a media hype.

Like wise if Hamilton is still topping the championship standings come to the end the F1 season.

But i just don't see your point either on the front page of BBC sport,ssn, eurosport, it mentions Hamilton win.....
