good night last!! enjoyed it very much, company was good as usual...
Pete voiced the Karting and Paintball ideas, and for the benefit of those that did not attend last night....we are Paintballing next month !!... (plastic sheets to cover cars a requirement me thinks, anyone in the know??)
does this mean that Sqwint is organising then??
anyway, can't wait already....
by the way..... nice post Nate....very original ....lol - bit rude though don't you think..

Can we have a quick vote, as we will need around 18 players for it to be interesting. Anyone with contacts with another local group that might want a challange against us? I will start a thread to get the lie of the land. Should cost around 30-40 pounds for the whole evening (and its floodlit too) but more if you are get paint madness! he he. Venue to be Mayhem in Abridge which is a 15minute (cross country) drive from the halfway

I take it's gonna by on the 13th, but at what time???
I'm up for it in a big way as it's only 10 minutes from home, although it does come 2 days after my day in Court so hopefully I'll still have a licence...

ok we have... erm four definates including me then!
Nate,
Graham
Rob Mo
Moi
If you havent all noticed already I have also started a thread to look for some challangers., of which there are none so far for an evening game. However there has been a suggestion of making it at the weekend , then we may well attract some outside the area players. Any thoughts?
+++edited to take onboard Rob++++

I'll be a taget for some of you keen eyed targeteers......(thats an add me sqwint!), willhave a word, try & get another 3/4 people, like the idea of the evening shoot personally, but may possibly be able to get a Saturday off work, the only reason I can forsee not coming is any date that England will be playing of the footballness....
anyway, will enquire for participants and come back!
by the way, I know it is a bit of an undertaking, but maybe e-mail contact is a better way of obtaining numbers etc. May I suggest that people should contact you by e-mail instead of posting, after all it gets very confusing once Nate has started the corner races and general muppetising of this thread!!!

Should start around 7.00 ish, however as the games are around 20 minutes each, it will be quite easy to gradually add players as the evening draws on.
Still need more definates though, before Mayhem will accept our preliminary booking.Perhaps the definate "no interest" people could also let me know on this thread too, as I need to gauge whether people have not had a chance to reply or are just not interested like the idea of the E-mail contact though, or alternativly place your replys on the halfway paintball challange thread I started.....No Muppetising that one though!

Ok update definates so far
Me
Robmo
Nate
Grae
Pete
Stu
Knowlsey
Tony W
Phil
Velryaba
Scottscooby
Kate in camos......mmmmmmm!
Further details as to cost as follows.
The evening will cost £12.00 for the game and gas, with an additional £2.00 if you want to use their camo overalls.
Paintballs are £5.00 per 100 and can be bought in any quantity. Free tea and coffee all night. The only downside is that Mayhem must have a minimum of 20 people before they will accept the booking. We are getting there though and I know of another few people who may be up for it.Keep asking around. Still no definate challangers from outside Halfway meet though. To quote Phil "Our reputation preceeds us!"
