Hi all, been on the forum a little while now getting ideas etc and joined a long time ago dreaming (as an 18 yr old does), however now i have the money, time and cheap insurance that will allow me to have my dream car

Right one big issue that i am still debating

Classic shape or Bugeye?

What would be the pros and cons to each really, and any and all advise is welcome apart from you cant afford the insurance (already been quoted less than 1500 for a classic sti)

Welcome! Whats your budget and main use for the car? I bought a newage WRX earlier this year as I was looking for a daily driver and something that I could modify but still keep costs 'reasonable'. Was perfect choice for me despite many people instantly saying 'get an STi', it comes down to what you want from the car.

edit: Just realised I said welcome, but you have been here longer than me!

Budget will be small ish to start as the car will be purchased and used as a project till the summer and then driven as a weekend/track car as i already have a company car
