Car Battery...
#4
I had to go to Halfords unfortunately as mine died on a Saturday... Seems really good though, big cranking power and actually a teensy bit lighter than the original one that was in there.
Is it not holding it's charge anymore? Or just not working to get you started?

Matt... its not holding its charge. Its been 'offish' for almost 6 weeks. Have tried charging it overnight which helps, but eventually it dies out again after a few weeks. I guess the cold weather ain't helping. I reckon its the original so with 7 years of service I think its time for a new 'un.
Dave... .... PM'd back
Mags... I'll google 'em @thumb:
Guv... lost K18LLR's number so no way of calling him. I thought he'd stopped working at ECP(?!?)
Barnes.... sadly not mate....
Mandeep.... exactly.... although the Trade Card would make a bit o' difference. Still think the Bosch would be best....

Luther, If you want a standard-ish one I have a Halfords trade card and paid about £60 for the longlife one for mine (calcium with a 4 year warranty)
Let me know and I'm sure we can square something.

Quick update... after suffering the car alarm go off at 1am and 5 am over the last week I finally resigned myself to having to buy a new battery
Bosch Silver S4.... cheapest place is Allparts at £46ish (all in) however they carry very low stock on Bosch stuff so you may need to hunt around. Next best was Europarts at £59ish (+VAT). Bosch also does a standard 5 yr warranty on it. Battery is now fitted so hopefully no more sleepless nights

We may as well abuse the priviledge while I have it
For anyone else, it gets money off car and motorbike spares, paints, filler and tools, but not ICE, cleaning stuff bikes etc. Anything maintenance related. Not being funny, but I need to come along as a couple of time I have been asked to sign and the signature checked - no drama for me, just need to be flexible with the timings
