Enough for now.... The t88 flows to around 550bhp on the rotary engines and around 750bhp on piston engines, I'll stick it on a dyno next week and see what it makes it feels a hell lot quicker than my 400bhp type r

Well after driving it pretty much the whole day I have to say fuel economy is very good averaging 23mpg the only downside I can think of is the act extreme clutch with no biting point was abit of a nightmare through central London, but yeah backend action in almost every gear

Oh my word... that is one stupidly sexy RX7... talk about ya car p0rn!!!
Did you go down the Ace in it last nite? I saw one very similar looking to this and on wind up it sounded immense in power...
I've always wanted one, but cant for 2 reasons, 1. RWD and me dont mix and 2. I dont have between £5-10,000 in the bank to keep it on the road each year after every time I blow it up, lol
Good luck with it mate, its fooking gorgeous and I hope she puts a smile on your face everyday!

Really depends on who's mapped the car, most rotry mappers map the cars fairly rich for saftey hence the poor fuel economy, mine is actually very good on fuel off boost Im getting in between 20 - 23mpg, a mate of mine has got a street ported Rx7 with a HKS T51R turbo putting out over 550bhp at the wheels and his fuel economy off boost is even better than mine averaging 25mpg off boost, both of which have been mapped by jaydee but if driven on boost then yes expect around 8 -10mpg - its well worth the cost though I doubt any subaru can ever give the fun factor a well setup RX7 does
