Depends on what you want, good all round road tyre, track tyre.
I'm a fan of Falkens but I have used them for about 8 years on various cars. Good wear rate and, whilst some people don't like them in the wet when they're pushed to the limit, I drive with a little more care in the wet and they have never let me down.

Its a daily driver, but want very good grip in both wet and dry conditions
Tina's got Falkens on her car, they are good but i thought id give something else a go, i've heard people on SN and the MLR rave about them so they must be good, but want someone i know to comment on them and whether they're worth buying or what other tyres can be compared

I was pushing it over Grims Dyke a week or so ago in the damp, testing my new geometry, and the Falkens didn't twitch, worked even better in the dry.
I think the only time I would change them is if I went for R888s or similar, but then I'd look for a second set of wheels for play time and leave the Falkens as the daily drivers

first off sorry about taking this thread off the topic
pete what are the r888's like in the damp/wet conditions?? (me assuming you drive it those conditions)
I did look into getting semi slicks for my car, but people have put me off of them saying that i shouldnt put them on as they will wear out in circa 5000 miles and in the wet you wont want to drive it as hard, road noise is terrible etc
Goodyear are good but are alot more IIRC.
Shiver whats your input on the Vredesteins?
would i also need to get my geo set up again after the new tyres go on? if so who does the best geo around london
