This route may take you guys right near my end & then further on involves one of the best driving roads in a 10 miles radius IMO The A41 from Watford M25 roundabout -(where the Grove Hotel is) going all the way up into Tring & past into Alyesbury & then beyond into Oxford. But the stretch upto Tring/Aylesbury is a blast with normally no traffic; empty 3 lane sweeping dual carrigeway all the way; national speed limit & very few turn offs/laybys & hardly any overhead gantries & bridges It is a blast, not so much in terms of sharp cambered turns & twisties, but instead fast sweeping empty highways. There is a new section of approx 2 miles they added a couple of years ago which is a dead straight drag strip that diverts traffic away from the old road & goes over what used to be flat farmland! Not sure if this new stretch come s before or after Alyesbury?
Anyway cut a long story short I should be able to make it though cant stay too long.
Will wait for you guys en route somewhere before or around the A41 at the A41/M25 (Grove Hotel) roundabout.

A41 road - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Watford to Tring
The A41 west of Hemel Hempstead, at its junction with the A414.North of the M25 the road is a near motorway standard "A" road with all junctions grade-separated via underpasses or flyovers, but curves and gradients a little steeper. There are no hard shoulders but frequent lay-bys. It climbs through the Chiltern Hills and there are many scenic vistas of rolling hills and wooded valleys. A descent into the valley of the River Bulbourne takes it across water meadows just outside Hemel Hempstead at Boxmoor. There are GSJ's with the A414, A4251 and A416. More striking open country is encountered north of here passing west of Berkhamsted. It passes the National Film Archive. Before Tring, near Wigginton, it crosses the Icknield Way Path and Chiltern Way. An impressive arched footbridge spans the road just near the summit before it passes just east of Tring (for the Ridgeway footpath) and descends the Chiltern scarp into the Vale of Aylesbury."
