That's a bit of a shame Deano.

I've noticed over the last couple of years that the proportion of scoob drivers that don't acknowledge you is starting to catch up with the number that do!

I have to say that most of the scoobs I come across in South London and North Kent are proper owners and they do acknowledge you.

Yep, I never knew it till I got my Scoob and I started getting waves off other drivers. I was confused for a while but I give a wave back now.

I have had the same experience especially since moving from Herts last year.
I thought maybe it was because I was driving a new age wagon and not a classic but at the end of the day WGAF - i like my car and enjoy driving it.
Keep waving - we might need the exercise!!

Have to say throughout ownership of the bugeye I think I was acknowledged once, as compared to my classic which got waves everywhere.
But then the classic looked like a "proper" Scooby!

Up here in sunny Barrow in Furness there is a minority of us friendly drivers. Most dont bother and just give a blank stare.......

We had a similar thread not long ago..I still wave to all. So maybe they will start to learn, or maybe they are just too good to wave to us mere mortals..

Keep wavin some of us are friendly

In Poole 90% of classics respond. Less new ages do... and if its a new age wagon, forget it! Seems to me the company car driver types (stereotypified?) are not true enthusiasts so do not wave!

Im now back driving a classic and my first turbo too, my non turbo bugeye lasted all of 9 weeks and now I cant stop saying f**k everytime I put my foot down, now I know what i've been missing out on, 123bhp to 270.. awesome! More to the point though the waves and flashes are back and im now able to turn around at the next possible place and chase anything that is fast. Well pleased, I can now stop being left behind by my mates clio 172 cup and stick with my mates clio v6. Oh yeah I let my auntie drive it too... never again! she wants one now. Ok nuff said.....
